Mother’s Day Caddis are hatching in good numbers throughout the Paradise Valley and we had reports of excellent dry fly fishing down low and up high. Just ask Sweetwater guide Beau Peavey whether nice brown trout are eating caddis dries. You’ve got lots of options for your float or wade. The water currently looks super juicy – green, but plenty clear. We expect that tomorrow will still be good fishing. After that, it’s a guessing game. The river is going to shoot up after the hot temps Sunday and Monday. But there’s a chance that it will clear again toward next weekend. But don’t risk it. Take Mom out for a boat ride tomorrow! And stop b;y Sweetwater Fly Shop for some fly suggestions.
