Rowing School
Get On The Sticks!
Whether you have fallen victim to “Don’t row, don’t go”, want to hone your skills, or just want to learn, Sweetwater Fly Shop’s Rowing School will fill the bill. Your instructors will cover various topics both in a sit down setting and on the water, including, but not limited to:
- Boating safety
- Required equipment
- Ramp ‘rules’ – launch, safety, etiquette
- River Etiquette
- Boat positioning and handling for effective fishing
- Fishing techniques and reading water from a drift boat
A majority of your two days will be spent on the iconic Yellowstone River in Paradise Valley.
Fee of $650* per person includes Hands on river instruction, and lunch.
Attendees will spend one to two days floating the Yellowstone River for practical and hands-on instruction based on the Class size. (One day classes are only for single Lessons)

- Boat for Rowing instruction (You are welcome to learn on your own boat if applicable)
- Non alcoholic beverages
- Lunch
Not included:
- Lodging
- Alcohol
*Two attendees are required per boat for two-day classes. Can adapt the schedule for a single student.
Instruction is available for women, men, couples, or singles.

Deposit/Cancellation/Refund Policy
A 50% deposit is required at the time reservation is made. Final payment is due 30 days prior to beginning of school. Deposits are fully refundable up to 30 days prior to the first day of the school Within 30 days, deposits are generally non-refundable. We may choose to make an exception if the spot can be filled.
